INDIAN RHINO

Rhinoceros unicornis, or the Great One-horned rhinoceros, is endangered, mostly because it's horned in believed to have medicinal properties by some cultures, making the horn very valuable.

POLAR BEAR

Urus marinus - the polar bear, as it's name indicates, is considered a marine mammal. Sadly, the plight of the polar bear has made it the poster organism for the detrimental environmental effects of climate change.

Whether you're taking APES, AP Biology, Anatomy & Physiology or Animal Behavior, there has never been a more challenging time for both the environment and it's organisms. An essential goal of each of these courses
is to instill in you as students and more importantly, resident organisms on this planet, a deep appreciation for the biodiversity and complexity of the wide arrayof organisms for whom this planet is home. . . starting with us!
